What is the Democrat solution to high energy prices? In their own
words:

"Drive small cars and wait for the wind!"

http://thehill.com/leading-the-news/energy-bill-out-of-gas-2008-07-07.html

(Last sentence.)

--
"On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken
line of fallen heroes -- and I see many of them in the
audience here today -- "

- from Obama's 2008 Memorial Day address,
aka the "I See Dead People!" speech.

Update: "I am not going to denounce this church [Trinity],
it is not a church worthy of denouncing."

- A clearly rattled Obama, asked by a reporter if he was
going to criticize comments at his church that finally
forced him to resign from it. This guy is supposed to be
a brilliant orator? See the video at

http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2008/05/obama-gives-up-trinity-church.html

At age 76, I am a life-long registered and voting Democrat. We own a 2004
Toyota Corolla, which I keep in excellent condition, changing oil every 3000
miles or nearly that, using Valvoline Dura-Blend oil.
We get about 33mpg city and 38-40mpg highway, dependably. The car drives
very nicely and is quite comfortable.

As far as I am concerned, this is a winning combination, made even more
effective by Senator Obama's election in November.

Rationing has been American politicians' opium since WWI.

They've been addicted to it ever since.

Yep, not are very good customer down at the filling station, are you.

Why don't you get an SUV and fill up. It's the Republican way to promote
good jobs down at Exxon. High payin' jobs for hard workin' 'mericans.
Don't be a sissy, buy an SUV.

Don't you love how these articles leave out the bill number so you can't
actually look it up and read it yourself? lol

That is unless you happen to be an elitist like Dr. Gore. Then you
still get to live in a 22,000 sq.ft. energy guzzling home and fly all
over the planet in private jets.

Until the Messiah tells you you're not allowed to drive your beloved
Toyota because it's powered by an internal combustion engine and not
batteries. You can always use the beloved Toyota's interior to plant
potatoes and beans since unless you're an elitist you'll eat nothing
but government furnished gruel.
