JESSE VENTURA DENIES HE HAS MADE PLANS FOR SENATE RUN

Former Minnesota Governor and WWE Hall of Famer Jesse Ventura denied
that he has decided to run for the State Senate of Minnesota, as was
reported earlier today by ABC News.
In an interview with Minnesota newspaper The Star Tribune, Ventura
says he won't make a decision until this coming Tuesday, the cut-off
for filing notice to run. Ventura claims that quotes he gave to
National Public Radio, which were later picked up by ABC, were
speaking hypothetically and that he has not told anyone, not even his
wife, that he has made the decision to run for office.
"I gave [NPR] the reasons why I would run," Ventura said. "But I said
ultimately, it will come down to whether I want to change my lifestyle
and go to that lifestyle or not." |
